Sarumaru Yataro, nicknamed "Saru" is an average guy in his 20's who daydreams about idols but otherwise has no luck with women (due to the fact that he's extremely perverted). His father abandoned him at a young age and his mother passed away while he was in high school. He took over his father's shop and became a locksmith. While working at his fathers locksmithing business, Saru uses his genius-like lock picking skills to help people and to take on dangerous cases.
